Alternate picking isn’t a single technique — it’s a family of related skills that build on each other. This course treats it that way, moving logically from the simplest elements to more demanding combinations. Each stage gives you exercises to work on and a clear sense of what you’re developing and why.
You’ll begin with single-string exercises that establish the core mechanics of the pick stroke, then move into string-changing territory where the real challenges of alternate picking live. Later stages address agility — both vertical and horizontal — before bringing everything together in musical contexts.
