All examples today will be over a ii-V-I in Ebmaj7

So the chords are f minor 7, Bb7, Ebmajor7

The only theory you need to know is what scales fit these chords.

F minor = F dorian

Bb7 = Bb Mixolydian or Bb Altered

Eb Major 7 = Eb Major
