We’re incredibly excited to present a unique one-day workshop with two of the most inspiring guitarists in the world, This is a rare opportunity to go deep with both players as they share their musical approaches, technical insights, and creative philosophies in an intimate setting. Throughout the day, you’ll get the chance to learn directly from Andy and Chris, ask your questions, and even receive individual feedback on your playing.

Andy Wood

Andy Wood is a charismatic guitarist known for his blistering licks, lyrical melodies, and genre-blurring versatility. A former mandolin prodigy from east Tennessee, he blends bluegrass roots with influences from country, rock, jazz, and fusion to tell compelling musical stories. He has toured with Rascal Flatts, Scott Stapp, Gary LeVox, LOCASH, and Sebastian Bach, and released four solo albums, including Junktown (2019) and Charisma (2024). Andy also founded the Woodshed Guitar Experience, a premier annual event for players to learn from top-tier guitarists.

Chris Buck

Chris Buck is a blues-rock guitarist and songwriter from Newport, South Wales, known for his expressive phrasing, melodic sensibility, and signature pick-and-fingers technique. He began playing guitar at 13 and rose to prominence as the winner of MusicRadar’s Best New Guitarist award in 2017. A modern torchbearer for soulful, song-driven guitar playing, Chris continues to inspire players with his tone, touch, and tasteful approach.

Location

The event takes place at Milk-Shed Studios, Old Priory Lane, RG42 6AN. Free parking is available on-site, or if you’re arriving by train, it’s just a 30-minute walk (1.9 miles) from Bracknell Station.

Common questions

You will need to bring your guitar if you want to get the most out the day, we also recommend bringing a pen and paper to make notes. Video and Audio recording will not be permitted. We have a full backline and multiple pedalboards available for use too.
The event is not catered, however there are supermarkets and petrol stations nearby. Thee will be a break for Lunch from 12-1. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
If you’re commuting to the event and would like to book accomodation, we recommend the Premier Inn Bracknell Central hotel 3-star hotel Wokingham Rd, Bracknell RG42 1NA
There is free parking available on site.
